How to Use your GoDaddy domain with Github Pages ?

Congrats, so you’ve finally created a personal website using github pages and now want a custom domain with it?
Fear not it won’t take much time. Just follow the few basic steps.

Note: This post will be later merged or referred to the Making a Blog with Github in 1 hour tutorial.

So, let’ get started:

1. Buy a domain on GoDaddy.

2. Go to your GitHub pages repository and click on the settings icon located in the upper righthand corner.

3. In the setting’s page, scroll down and then add and save your custom domain in the field provided (

4. Check your root folder <github-username> There should be a CNAME File created with the url. If not create a CNAME File (Filename: CNAME no extensions) and add your url to it. Commit the changes.

5. Go to your GoDaddy account and click on the Domains tab. Manage DNS dropdown menu.

6. Within the DNS management page you will need to make three changes:

+ In the Type “A” row update the IP address to:
(this will point your custom domain to GitHub’s server)
+ In the CNAME row with Name “www” input your gh-pages website (
+ At the bottom click the “ADD” button and make another Type “A” row with a different IP address of:
(don’t worry when you leave the page it will alphabetize the types)

7. Save the new DNS settings.

8. DNS Changes takes a few minutes of time after that your site should be available in

Hyperledger Internship 2018

It has been around 6 weeks after I have joined The Hyperledger Internship and I can’t believe how much I have learnt the whole six weeks. Before joining the internship I had pretty basic knowledge regarding the Hyperledger Tools and Frameworks but by working as an intern I have gained a pretty much a lot of insights on the Hyperledger Ecosystem.

## So, how did everything started on the first place ? How can you join the next year’s Internship Program ?

So, let’s begin from the starting. I came across the Internship opening from Hyperledger Wiki Page.

I don’t know what made me to participate even though I didn’t have much knowledge regarding the Hyperledger Iroha (The platform on which I am working). But I knew it was a great opportunity for a non-IITian like me. So, I started preparing the proposal for the program by researching through all the available content on the internet. Iroha didn’t had much proper documentation and had a few issues on the github repo. So, I worked on the proposal considering those points. The most important part is to submit the proposal to the mentor and then try to reach out to the mentor discussing about the proposal and getting proper feedback and respond to him.

Always ask proper questions and prove that you are ready to contribute yourself to the project. Discussing the issues which you encounter are especially important.

To quote my mentor, “It’s always important to learn first. And have interest to learn. You may not know anything at first but you can always learn and then work towards your end goal”.

I’ ll update my blog regarding whatever I am learning and working on Hyperledger Iroha. So, keep an eye on.

What is Hyperledger Iroha ??

Hyperledger Iroha is a simple blockchain platform you can use to make trusted, secure, and fast applications by bringing the power of permission-based blockchain with Byzantine fault-tolerant consensus. It’s free, open-source, and works on Linux and Mac OS, with a variety of mobile and desktop libraries.

This framework is a Blockchain platform implementation, designed to be easily incorporated into other distributed ledger
technologies. Hyperledger Iroha features an architecture written in C++, an emphasis on mobile and web development, and a new consensus algorithm.Hyperledger Iroha offers many reusable C++ components, that can be used by many different blockchain platforms.Hyperledger Iroha is dedicated to compiling a library of reusable modular components that enhance existing distributed ledger frameworks.

Key Components

Hyperledger Iroha seeks to contribute three main goals:
1. Provide an environment for C++ developers to contribute to Hyperledger.
2. Provide infrastructure for mobile and web application support,
3. Provide a framework to introduce APIs and a new consensus algorithm that can potentially be incorporated into other frameworks in the future.

The core architecture of Hyperledger Iroha was inspired by Hyperledger Fabric. Hyperledger Iroha’s creators have emphasized the importance of this framework in fulfilling the need for user-friendly interfaces.
In doing so, they’ve created a framework with many defining features,including a simple construction, a modern C++ design, with an emphasis on mobile application development, and a new chain-based Byzantine Fault Tolerance consensus algorithm, called Sumeragi.
Perhaps the most defining characteristic of Hyperledger Iroha is its ability to be freely interoperable with other Hyperledger projects.
The open source iOS Android and JavaScript libraries allow for developers to conveniently create functions to perform common operations.
